Rock Study By the Sea (2018).

As the sun set, I watched hundreds of people move over the rocks of Peggy's Cove like the fading sun. It was everyone's moment to photograph the red and white lighthouse with their smart devices. As they photographed the famous lighthouse, I photographed the smooth rocks beneath me, along with the puddles of water that formed earlier in the day from rain. This series is a collection of photographs that capture the awe-inspiring beauty of the rock formations known to Peggy's Cove. These photographs not only serve as memories; studying the rock mounts shaped by ocean tides has led me to further question our human interactions with nature and the surrounding environment. The tranquil atmosphere of the city was a gentle reminder to slow down and take more moments to connect with nature, fostering a sense of calm and relaxation.
